| The finished product of the cooking classes labor |
Yesterday we were imbedded into our chosen spring phase classes for a day to practice the art of photo journalism. It was a really good experience for me. It made me act fast so that i do not miss the good photos. you cant control people and you cant tell then to stop and pause because they are cooking. That would not be good. I had to act fast or wait for a good shot to set up again. It was pretty easy to get the pictures that conveyed the happenings in that class.
That day the theme was Filipino cuisine and there was a guest chef, the one and only Dr. Lansang. He came in to teach them about his families culture and their food. It was really interesting to listen to him tell the class about the food that they were cooking and what the history was behind it. It was so interesting that i couldn't help myself and i decided to go and join in. The highlight of the day was to see the class gather around the table and roll up the home made egg rolls. It was great, the class was fun. The people was fun and the food...... OMG the food. It was awesome.
