New York Subway Mosaics

--> Looking at the mosaic improved my ability to take photos because it gave me an idea of the image I want to capture when I take my photos. For example, the mosaic with the liquid coming out of the teacup gave me an idea to catch something in action such as liquid or actual tea coming out of a teacup. Another example is a different mosaic we saw during our trip was a man was blowing fire. This mosaic instantly caught my eye and gave me an idea of the general things I like to take pictures of which are capturing things in action when they are happening. The mosaic helped me find what I like and what I didn’t like to take pictures of.

The mosaic that impressed me the most was the man blowing fire, the teacup with the liquid coming out of it and the clowns. The colors of the mosaic made it something exciting to look at just from all the colors it displayed. It was an eye catcher from the time that we went down in the subway and I immediately took interest in the type of pictures it portrayed on the subway walls.
