I was working on exposure
compensation in class .my teacher told me to go walk around the school and take
different photos. He told me to set the exposure on +1,0, -1. Zero means
perfect photo, negative one means under exposed and positive one mean over exposed.
In other word negative one is darker and positive one is way brighter. You are
probably wondering why we don’t just use zero for every photo but, under
exposed help in the sun or make a picture more dramatic. And over exposed helps
on darker settings.
I took pictures of the knight in the trophy room by Fr.Eds
office. First, I took and perfect picture and I came out pretty nice. Then, I
did over exposed and it was too bright. Last, I took a under exposed picture
and it was too dark. My favorite was zero but most of the time my favorite is
under exposed. The trophy room is just to dark for negative one. I didn’t know
you could do so much with pictures and cameras.
Very unique learning process you are going through, seems like you are having fun. I'm sure after you learn all the in's and out's of photography you will make a great young photographer
