Light vs Dark

On May 6th in class we tried to focus on more of the things that our cameras could do. We learned about exposure compensation. Basically we learned how to change it so that out photos didn't come out over exposed (to light) or under exposed (to dark). We explored the school grounds for about an hour to try and find pictures that we could take and how they would look taken with different exposure compensations.

As I walked the halls I noticed the reflection of the light in the window pain of the door. I thought it looked cool how the wood line of framed the window/ reflection. The first picture was taken at a 0 exposure     compensation. I found it to be a little bit too bright. The next photo was taken at a -1 exposure compensation. I thought this was the best out of the three pictures because this showed  the light and the wood and didn't make either too dark or too light. The last picture was taken at a -2 exposure compensation. I found it to be too dark.
