A trip to remember

On Thursday May 16, we went to the Brooklyn Bridge. It started to rain when we arrived there, but we didn't lose hope. When the rain stopped we made our way up the bridge making it possible to capture great photos. The next day we went to New York city again and visited the famous street, 5th Ave. Besides all the walking we had to do. I was able to capture awesome photos. We were able to go inside the Nike store and also visit the apple store. Both trips were great especially for me since I've never been in either of places we visited.

On the Brooklyn Bridge I captured some photos I thought they were great. Being that it was my first time there, I fell inspired by the view. I was able to capture leading lines with the use of the wires that hold the bridge in place. I tried atypical point of view and got a photo of peoples shoes as they walked by the bridge. I then got inspired by looking at other photographers' silhouette's that I wanted try it out myself. I was able to get what I wanted by lowering the exposure making it seem like it was night. With the use of the sun, I was able to use it as my only light.

On May 17, we took a trip to 5th Ave. Each of us were ask to take a typology of something. I took on the assignment of taking a typology of circles or ovals. A typology is "The study or system classification (photography) of types (things, items, people) that have characteristic or traits in common." As you can see on the left and right, this were some of the photos I took of circle or ovals. Some of these are regular items that we walk by and don't give that much attention too. Using rule of thirds and atypical point of view, my pictures came out great.
