learning about exposure

Well this week our main topic in photography class was exposure composition. Exposure is the total amount of light allowed to fall on the photographic medium. In class we were learning about achieving the correct exposure and it is the photograph has the correct amount of light to make the proper image that you are trying to achieve.  If your camera is taking pictures that are too “light” it is called overexposure and if one day your taking pictures that are too “dark” that will be call underexposure. And if you’re asking yourself how can you do that well its really easy you just have to go to your menu and go to the exposure composition setting or (EV) and  you will see -2.0…-1.0...0…+1.0…+2.0 if  you’re in a dark room and want some light in it just put exposure to +1.0 or +2.0 depending how dark it is and if it is bright outside want some dark in it just put in -1.0 or -2.0.  what i have also  learned in exposure composition is the 3 factor that affect exposure and it is shutter speed, aperture, ISO. Shutter speed is the effective length of time a carmera shutter is open. aperture is how large or small is the hole in the lens and ISO is sensitivity to light.
